As the summer draws to an end, and we slowly enter fall (my favorite season) - I am excited to mark the passing of another year of my two sons - Kenny will soon be 7, and Aidan will soon be 3. Kenny is looking forward to first grade and Tiger Cubs, and Aidan is just excited to get back to seeing his friends. It has been a good summer that is sadly ending, and the school year will soon begin for Nicole and myself as well.
I keep my eyes on summer next, and our return to the Shore!

Potty Training
It has been about four years since we were in full-fledged potty training mode here at the Kromer household. Kenny had just moved out of diapers a little under a year before Aidan was born. We are now in the stage again - and I am looking forward to not spending money on diapers anymore!
I am finding it quite humorous that in the three year old mind, it makes sense that right after the attempt at standing or sitting on the toilet on twenty-minute intervals, it makes sense to then pee in your training underwear. Personally, I just wouldn't think it would be that comfortable!!
Anyway, that's it for the day. The pit in my stomach is coming back as the school year is getting ready to commence once again - it is hard when you are locked into a career path that does not seem to have a lot of transitional skills and in a down economy, to find something that you can be truly happy with. Kind of like the potty training in life - you make your attempt to pee every twenty minutes, and as soon as the pants are pulled back up, you go in them!

Nothing to say
So here I am again - not much going on. Summer is in full swing, yet half-way over. I wish the school year could progress as fast as the summer does - funny how that happens. Spent some quality time working at my friends wood shop, repairing antique furniture. I often find I enjoy doing that more than my regular job - go figure!
That's about it for my posts. Looking forward very much to the upcoming week, but I won't say why for a few days!

Entry Two
Well,
This blog is going about as well as I expected! It has been an interesting past few days - hotter than it was here in New England than when I was in New Mexico three weeks ago!
Did some volunteering for the Massachusetts/Southern New Hampshire Alzheimer's Association Memory Ride yesterday with Caleb Butler Lodge, providing food, water, and rest for over 200 riders. A fun time, but I think I enjoyed the year I rode the event better!
This week sees some Masonic activity, with a trip in to Grand Lodge tomorrow, the Constitution Ceremony of The Scouters Lodge on Tuesday night, and a visit to Ida McKinley Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star to make a presentation.
For now, that is all!

Opening Night
This is the inaugural post for this blog. Where it will go, I'm not sure.
Currently enjoying my summer vacation, having spent some time in Albuquerque, New Mexico visiting the parents, and now back home.
For tonight, that's about it.
