Been a while since I posted anything - so, here I go.
Not a lot happening here, other than a major hurricane that has not done much up here in north-central Massachusetts, but has done some crazy damage at my favorite vacation spot - the Jersey Shore. Wondering how it will look when we get down there this summer.
Anyway, life moves on. Masonry is beginning to wind down for me - less then two months to serve as District Deputy Grand Master of the 14th Masonic District of Massachusetts. It has a been a rewarding experience and I am glad to have had the opportunity to take on the job. If it was the pinnacle of my Masonic career, I would not be disappointed!
Cub Scouts, on the other hand, is very much ramping up. Our planning meeting this evening jam-packed the schedule - I don't think I'll have time to miss doing the Masonic activities as I will have so much to do with the Cubs. It is rewarding work though, and you can't help but think how great it is to be able to be involved with Kenny - and that it is an organization I was involved in as a kid as well - rite of passage I guess!
That's it for tonight!
